well i'll be fitting 6 branch and my exhaust if the manifold ever arrives (i ordered it december last year). and possibly new wheels when funds allow.

Ive had this old girl since 2010 and loved every minute of it but 192k later shes getting a bit tired and the tin worm is setting in so i decided i wanted a new motor, i'd been looking for a while but never found something i really liked and then i spotted this little beauty a few texts later and i was off to south wales to view her, i knew straight away i had to buy it so three days later i returned with the cash and brought it home. right the weekend i shall be collecting a new engine for my car as the one in mine is getting tired after 189k. now my car is a j plate vr using a dizzy engine so am i right in thinking that this is an obd1? the car i shall be removing the new engine from is an obd2 engine, could someone give me a list of this i am going to need to strip from the car to convert my car over to obd2? all help much appreciated

im looking at doing the mk4 brake conversion as once again i have a siezed caliper. does anyone know where i can get a set of hoses with the banjo on as big boys toys are showing out of stock?

no sweat, yeah thats not a bad shout tbf i thought they were aftermarket replicas tho with being multi fitment, gotta be worth a go tho as its doing my head in having one missing for so long

ive tried on ebay mate, they all seem to be clip in caps where as these are held in by one bolt

car cut out wont start again now, help

cheers for that mate, cleaned the connector for the cps and now it starts and runs fine -
my car randomly cut out last night and wouldnt start again, tried a few things this morning found that it has no spark tested that power is getting to the coil via the black wire which it is, am i right in presuming that the red and black wire is a signal wire? ive followed this back to the ecu and tested for continuity which it has fine but there is no power being sent down the wire when crancking so im a bit stuck now so any advice or help would be much apreciated. oh its a j reg mk3 obd 1 and its also got a toad ai606 alarm fitted
