it hasn't worked again, i wonder if a previous owner has had a play with a couple of bits because when i turn the car off the interior fan and the radio continue to work until i switch the lights off. I take it this is not normal??!!

no success yet, tried about 8 times. Will keep trying, Does it usually work before this amount of tries? Cheers

Evening all, we are lucky enoughto have 2 mk3's in the household. My girlfriends has one touch windows both up and down, mine only does it down. Is it an option within Vag-com? It must be fairly simple as it has total closure so it obviously can do it! Thanks in advance Nathan

drip free since i refitted the tray in place!!

i got a genuine seal, it's easy to remove the sunroof but because the seal is a double lip type seal it is tricky to fit to the panel. Use a lot of patience and a rubber mallet. Took about an hour to work round the seal.

I did this years ago in my brothers austin allegro vanden plas, ( i know, i will wash my mouth out!!) I used a staplegun then glued the chesterfield type buttons. Looked different but fairly cool, went with the wood and leather upholstery. Not sure how it would look in a modern but give it a crack. We need pictures. As above i wouldnt used that length of tack.

Thanks very much, it is the back, having had a quick look the plastic driptray has come unclipped and then the sunroof has pushed it to the rear of the headlining. Need to sort that asap.

Morning, in the above manuals does it give any dimensions for refitting the factory sunroof after replacing the seal? I have spent ages getting the leak down from a full on monsoon to a healthy trickle but obviously i want to completely cure it before summer is out. If there is could you either give me a page number or better still a scan of the page? Really appreciate this. Nathan
