Went to put my amp in last night connected earth tightened up then connected power as I tightened up screwdriver touched amp slightly and I got sparks, connected remote then stereo now amp has power light and red light in safe mode also, worked fine before so wiring is good guessing have ruined something any ideas cheers

Right looking for a new look on my golf vr6 wheel sites offer nothin but crap, what I want I don't know the makes of , want high polished very shiny , size 17 inch style of alloy I like are full faced with slots in round the side or deep dish like split rim style but prob can't afford them any ideas please write them down or help with pics sorry message is so vague just dont know were to look as I said normal wheel websites just throw up bk fox etc

  3. in regards to your pump i have just changed mine for brand new one when u turn key all way just before u start car u should he water pumping around also if u feel the hoses from the pump you should feel water runnin through , also after every run when key is out water should continue to run , in regards to problems it can cause problems over time , the run on pump stops hot spots forming after turn off also primer engine prior to start up, also have heard of occasions where heater matrix has been damaged, end of the day vw fitted it for a reason so should work correct, i got new one from gsf 84 quid , easy to fit mine all working great now , hope this helps let me know . . .

  4. above is correct two hoses going into car at back run through matrix had this prob on a 106 gti i had, disconnect both pipes put a plastic join between them halfords wil have some and jubilee each side , u will have no heater but also will confirm a leak in matrix, as stated earlier the matrix itself is not expensive its all labour my 106 gti was 20 quid for matrix and nearly 250 in labour , took all day dash off air bags off , change matrix and re build, as i said once u have by passed matrix if leak stops u know its that, then ask for quotes , hope that all that helps mate

  5. gear box mount can be annoying to do my mechanic mate struggled a bit with mine, the other two are not that hard just a matter of jacking engine un doing and lining new ones up i did mine my self ,depends if u got the guts to have ago though, first job is to diagnose which mount your having trouble with .if its gear box mount its hydraulic so wil be leaking this is situated right hand rear when u open bonnet under coolant tank, front one is dead centre and nearest to bonnet catch, rear mount is back left under metal protector, find out which one it is by looking for extensive wear and moving engine with a mate back and forth try and listen out, try find out which mount it is then people can best advise you on price mate hope this helsps
