  1. Just need a bit of information, i want to get my vr turbo project started, what i want is around 250-300 bhp, At the moment ive got a golf vr6 which is going on friday and want to get a corrado instead, I just wanted to know what was the best exhaust manifold to go for, there are quite a few cast ones on ebay but ive head that some of them crack. also if i could have some advise on which turbo to get. Thanks
  2. sorry meant to write coil pack, yh its the later OBD2 engine. Just checked the secondary resistance and its about 3800-3900 ohms for cylinders 2/5 and the rest are 3500, would that mean i need a new coil pack, also just put the coil pack back on the car and its misfiring alot more now. Just checked the seconday resistance from my old 16v coil and it reads 3110 ohms are the vr6 coilpacks supposed to be that low? Just trying to find out if its the ignition causing the misfire or the fuel injectors (because the engine was outside for god knows how long before i brought it) also another thing th
  3. already tried that and nothing comes up does anyone know what the secondary resistance of the coil is supposed to read? Thanks
  4. Ive just finished a conversion with my 16v to an obd2 12v vr6. My vr6 has a misfire when under load, higher rev range and lower rev range only runs on 6 cylinders when very smooth with the throttle. i went to check the coil today, spayed water on it and no sparks at all, Ive already replaced the spark plugs and leads and nothing. Any ideas? Thanks Zack
  5. Ive got the same problem, but it still misfires when cold, but nowhere near as much as it misfires when hot, when hot it is almost undrivable. Its got new HT leads and spark plugs. another thing i have noticed is that the fuel pump stays on when the ignition is switched on (with the engine off)
