Lol, organise the petrol tanker in advance!! I have a question 2, do any of you guys have the Meta alarm system, with a black rectangle fob with one button on it, i think it's the M100. I wouldn't mind trying to get hold of a spare fob, but i can't really find any info??

Where i took the pictures there is a really good cove, get some good surf down there, been 8-10 ft last few days, bit of a bad rip though, i got dragged out a way a few times!! Will have to sort out a meet then, that'd be good!!

Hmm, i can imagine Yorkshire is slightly miserable compared to "sunny" Cornwall!! You should move back down, it to be fair, is actually sunny today!! We should sort out a meet for when you're down next!!

I'm thinking of getting an SLR camera myself, and this is like a sort of testing thing, seeing if i really want one or not! It is nice to be able to live here, but sometimes, like anywhere, it would be better to live elsewhere!! Did you live down here for long?

Ah cool, i was actually considering going down to Portreath to take some pics, but i really like this place, it's quite hidden away too, so not many people know about it!! We're going to do some more next weekend i think, and try a few different things!!

I'm down near Penzance, they were taken on the coast just down from Gwithian, was nice weather yesterday, apart from the cloud that seemed to gather right over us!! And yeh, very happy Nat, sorted out the sunroof leak at the weekend, was just a lot of gunk in the pipes, all dried out now inside and ok again!! And cleaned here up yesterday and looking fantastic, can't believe how nice the paintwork is still even now!! Just want to get a few things now, a new exhaust, stainless mani, and wouldn't mnid getting a panel filter as well, oh and the brakes and braided hoses, but funds are restricting

Bit of a pain today. Went out to the car this morning, and there was a puddle of water in the centre console, and a wet roof lining. I presume it's leaking from the sunroof, and so i squeezed the drain nipples in the door jambs and a small amount of water and crap came out, would this be enough to block them up, or could it be more serious, i.e the seal around the sunroof?? I'm hoping it was just the drain tubes, as it was preety thick and black gunk that came out, allbeit just about a lump say a 5p size. Any help would be appreciated guys.

Got a blowy cat after inspection on Saturday, which proably explains the slightly rich smell from the exhaust, so got a new (2nd hand) one on the way, £30, which i'm pleased with, and also got a ram air filter on the way too! Some more good news, as i took the car to my VW blokey, and he said it's spotless, underneath has had a small amount of welding around the bungs ( a common place apparently) and thats it, and he said he thinks the chain rattle is because of the state of the oil in the engine, he reckons it hasn't been changed in a year, so i went to VW as well and picked up synta silver

Is that £90 for discs and pads?? Thats pretty good isn;t it, crikey!! I also checked the MOT history on VOSA last night, and the good thing is that everything he told me tallied up with what the MOT history said, and it's had to have a very minimal amount of welding done in the last 6 years, which, in my eyes, is a good thing!!

No it's not bad at all, just noticeable, but i think it's to do with the sheer size of the thing more than anything. It's going in the garage i said about on Tuesday anyway, and anything that needs doing will be done (Good old credit card) so she'll be all sorted then! You wouldn't know where the cheapest place to get black diamond brake products would be would you? I've tried Europerformance, where i got my Primera stuff from, but they seem very expensive now? Thanks dude, she really is spotless outside and in, a small crack in one of the rear lenses and thats it!! Just , as said before, want to make sure everything is ok mechanically, and then it'll be fine!! Just a few questions ive got: I've read a few times about VR's warming up, and mine probably takes around 5-10 minutes to warm up to 80 on the gauge first thing, is this right?? Is the engine supposed to give the car a slight shake on idle, i mean the shake that comes from having a huge block, or thats the way i see it anyway?

Yeh definitely matey, looking forward to seeing everyone elses dubs, been on the Jap "Scene" as it were for the last 5 years or so, so be interesting to see what else everyone has done euro wise etc. Are there many regional or national meets during the year??
