  2. Well here, goes, I've put a VR6 in a Polo! 9N... Got bored of the 3 pot 1200 flinstone stylee engine lol... Anyway, It's all mounted, but when it came to the wiring, I had issues! It's all wired in, everything's earthed etc, but I just couldnt get it to spark. Here goes, odd request I know, BUT... does anyone have an OBD1 VR6 that I could have a look at for an afternoon? I can't find ANY wiring diagrams anywhere, and all I want to do is have a look at a running VR6 and see exactly where ALL the wires are plugged in and see where I've gone wrong... Any volunteers in the south east-ish area? A
  3. Okay, but any ideas which color wire goes to what on the ECU with regards positive wires? I think (not 100% sure!) I need to keep the original 1200 loom and ECU connected for the central locking + electric windows + Air Con to work?

  5. Hi people Here goes... I have a 9N (2002) Polo i've put a VR6 lump in, just got to the point of sorting all the wiring... I have a MK3 Golf ECU and wiring loom, and MK3 clocks, to put into the Polo. NOW... Can the original key and transponder for the Polo ECU be used to make the VR6 ECU work, or does the ECU HAVE to have its own key + transponder? Would the Polo loom work with the VR6 ECU if I were to splice the polo loom? Finally, any ideas whether the VR6 ECU would plug straight into (and work!) in the Polo loom? Sorry for all the questions, but I hope someone's able to help! Thank-youuu!
