    Got the vr out the garage at the weekend for its weekly start up. Not realising it was low on fuel. Thought I'd give it the once over while it was running. Just as I was about to put it back in, it dies. Put more fuel in it, probably about 5l. Just cranks over, doesn't fire!! Any ideas?

    Going to put her up for sale in soon. MOT in a few weeks, by then I should have another Sump, and I can take off the charger & Shrick so she's in a more STD form. It's a shame to sell her, but it just never gets used. And in more bits than I bought her lol, but I think she'll sell quicker this way. End of an era!

    As tempting as that maybe I've put a deposit down on another car already. Should have it in a few weeks all going well. She's up for 6.2k ono. I've not pushed the sale at all yet. I will have to pull my finger out and get it sold soon. She's living in my parent’s garage at the moment so holding on to its not a problem……… which is probably why I’ve been so lazy lol! Was nice to get in it yesterday though, I didn’t realise how much I’d missed it. I’ve been car sharing a bit this month, which has made the VR feel like a Rolls Royce lol

    I picked them up 2nd hand from a guy on Edition. Paid £600 with tyres & centres etc. Slight mark on one wheel. It's still good money, but the they're in good nick.

    They work with almost any car. The reps are about a million times easier to keep clean then my RH splits too. I have probably used a wheel sealant once since these have been on, and they come up perfect every time.

    LOL you're probably the only person that's noticed I'd swapped them over. They're the original ones. I just fitted a new HID kit & they were as good as gold.

    With MOT time approaching I got inspecting the car in preparation & found a leaky shock. So a new set of FK coilovers have been purchased! Since then she's gone through the MOT & all is fine. Happy days!

    Cheers mate. I've been struggling with it lately. I have tried the juby clips in all sorts of positions, swapped them over etc. At the moment I'm still only getting 6psi max. I thought by putting a longer hose on it, it wouldn't have to be such a tight fit and have a bit more give in it. Maybe I'll just go for a super industrial juby clips!!!

    This one will show who a bit on the geeky side!! My silicone hose is a bit short from my charger to the plastic intake pipe that attaches to the air filter. I keep finding it's popping off. I'm going to buy a new slightly longer one. Anyone happen to know off othe top of their head the bore size? I even had it off at the weekend to clean it up & forgot to measure it! Gold star for the person that comes up with the answer!! Cheers Dan

    I am planning to start a business so I’m going to need to raise some capital and cut the monthly out goings a tad. I've tried to look at ways of keeping it, but it's not senisble. Between the Mrs & I we are only going to be able to run one decent car till it’s turning over a good profit. She’s not comfortable driving the VR because of how powerful it is and should she mark it/curb a wheel/ram it up a speed bump or come home with it full of car park dents, I think I’d struggle not to through a hissy fit. It unfortunately just makes sense to sell the VR and get something we can both

    Spaced the rear out by 10mm now. Looks much better. Just trying something here with a new badge. Not sure I'm 100% on the VR6 badge at the moment, but I want some sort of badge on show as I'm getting every little kev trying to race me in his Mum's punto/corsa etc lol. I bought a chrome badge, and removed the chrome to match my rear VW badge.
