    Hello there, what should be on a standard VR6 accelerator pedal? Mine is a 1997 P-reg 5dr in Dragon green. At present it is bare metal (is that right?). If it has a cover , is this available from VW stealers? Thansk

    Hi all , just acquired a 1997 Dragon Green 5dr VR6 and loving it. The car seems to have been fitted with a Defend-Lock gear level lock. The main unit is located on the left of the gear lever and I have a key for it. What is missing seems to be a bar or unit that locks the gear lever to the device. Anyone got one of these / or has one that they don't want anymore? Help would be appreciated. Many thanks - Worthash
