In the process of sorting.

There is a portion n the bars that should be parallel to the floor. I have no contact and my wishbones are inverted.
-
When I did mine I marked everything and after the spacer went in it was all slightly off. You just have to check it is off in the right direction and go with it.
-
Where is the compressor situated? Any photo's of that?
-
Just remember to allow for the spacer when putting everything back together. Had me scratching my head for a bit. I have a Bentley manual if you need to check anything.

I've looked at the passat estate 3.6 but not driven one. They do seem to come fully loaded.

Tried it again and it went in ok.

Heavy cars need the usual things checking like brakes, bushes etc. With a newer car like what you have in mind then I would think a thorough check of the service history and a VCDS scan.

I have an A6 Avant and love it. Roomier and cheaper than an A4 but with it's own style. I have a remapped 130pd set to about 170bhp. I would love an RS6 Avant which just might be on the cards in the spring.

I have seen this elsewhere and read your posts on other forums. Nice to have you along and look forward to seeing this progress.

awesome project I admire the effort you put in
Only problem is it takes me ages to get anything done.

How big is your garage?

How deep a restoration are you attempting?

I'm trying to do as much as possible myself. No excuses then if it doesn't work. Very satisfying when you do get it right. Nice to have lots of people around who really know their stuff when it gets tricky.
