  1. since ive had a lot of questions answered in here i thought id copy my build thread onto here so here goes this starts from aug 09 i got this car car just over 2yrs ago for £50 heres a couple of pics of how it looked when i first got it it was completly standard, just the passenger side windows were all smashed in when the last owner took it of the road due to a blown radiator. i managed to locate the last owner and ask him what he was doing with it and got told he was going to scrap it. so naturally i took it of his hands. so the next day i sourcced and fitted all the windows and a radiato
  2. well the strange sries of question is because im build a mk2 with a 4mo lump in. just there isnt much info available to answer some of my questions. i need to know about wasted spark as im trying to get mk2 rev counter to work on the 4mo engine will post a build thread up for you
  3. hi does any know if a 2.8 24v bde ecu require a speed signal? if so which wire/pin does it connect to on the ecu?
  4. the only reason you cut the rear mount is so that the engine sits level. if you are planning on slamming your car then there is detailed guid on mk2vr6 on how to raise your engine with the other 2 mounts using hockey pucks but leave the rear engine mount alone

  6. All I need to know is which one is for what cylinder? Eg lanbda with brown connector for cylinders 1,2 and 3
  7. hi does anyone know which lambda sensor goes on the exhaust down pipe? its the primary lambda sensors (5 pin ones) one has a brown connector, the other has a black connector.

  10. before i start i must appologise for poor blackberry immages plz can some one help me id these couple of pipes ist pipe, connects to the head next to the inlet manifold, it the pipe just above the 7mm hex bolt head this is the end of it the other bit of pipe work i need to know about is this one, its sits behind the the inlet manifold by the bulk head any help with iding them and yetting me know where they go would be much appreciated
  11. i didnt think it was impossible to run that sort of power since i've seen r32 guys run 100+ more horses now for needing approximatly 8psi of boost, i take it i would need a turbo that could deliver around 12psi boost to keep the turbo from not being on its limits? if the above is the case, what turbo/manifold would you recomend?
  12. hi i have almost finnished building a mk2 golf with a 2.8 24v engine (bde), and winter next year i plan on stripping all down again for a respray, so with the above in mind i am having thoughts about adding a turbo running on standard management and hopefully acheiving 300bhp is the above possible if so what sort of set up would i be looking at?
  13. u can use a seat cordoba sx 1.6 fan assembly with the mk3 rad, looks a loads better than a cut down mk3 item
