Thanks ladies and gents new clutch it is, fast road one or a vw one? is there any point doing the oil pump and the water pump?

Hi every1 my vr6 has gone into storage for the winter and im going to replace the camchains and guides for next summer because they are stating to rattle abit. Whilst im replacing the camchain and guides do any of you reccommend i do anything else whilst taking on this task with half of the engine out, ie. water pump etc? any comments would be apprieated. Also where is the cheapest place to get these parts from and how much am i looking for these parts? Obviously genuine v dub parts aswell. thanks for your time.

Hi there going to change all the bushes on my vr6 highline what do rekon the best are to buy? Powerflex or genuine vw bushes will either of these be different to one and another like handling? Thanx

I just want it as a show car really you know something different, i fancy the scirocco really because my grandad had one when i was a child i fell in love with them since then really, ive also got a highline but shes stayin standard and currently in storage. the money really isnt the issue as long as the mrs dont dig her claws in, or the time it just depends on how much fabrication has got to be undertaken really. i spose i could b pushed towards the mk2 by the looks off your old one mate its mint. did you do the conversion yourself?

Hi everyone Ive had a vr6 for a while now and her body work has seen better days, im looking to put the engine and running gear into either a mk1 golf, caddy or a sirocco has anybody ever attempted this before and if so am i going 2 have any hair left on my head after this if you know what i mean, i would fancy putting it into a mk2 golf but it seems like quite alot of people go down this route is there any reason for this? your comments would be appreicated thanks....8-)

Hi everyone ive bought a vr to get back to her former glory recently and the sunroof has been siliconed shut, just wondering if anybody knows what a likeky cause could be before i cut the silicone back out thanks........... *-)
