    yeah have air-con but it has nothing in it as i had to get a new air-con rad, havent got it re gased yet

    have had my vr6 a while now, but only driven it a bit as i have had my head done then i had a little prang... my fans seem to kick in quite alot harder and the temp rises slightly when sitting about even on cool days.. is this normal?

    the interior lights work and so does cigerette lighter.. :-| is it something to do with my alarm as that is connected to the central locking and that is not working im am having to use my key in the door istead of using the key fob.

    i have just replaced my power steering resi, i took the battery out as i was quite a bit easier, put the battery back everything fine then i went to lock my car and my central locking is now not working, is it due to me not doing something when putting the battery back? thanks Ben

    i have had my head gasket changed about 6 weeks ago, my fans come on when sitting about, temp goes just over 90, i found leaving the ignition on the fans still go crazy but cool it down quicker than just turning it off totally

    with those mk4 style ones on venom motorsports how do you hook up the indictor in them do you have to wire it in your self or does it come with a bit to plug the indicators straight in? putting in the little grills sounds slick, is that legal atall or do you not care haha?

    i have found some but they are only angel eyes.... can you get mk4 style ones that arent angel eyes and where from?

    i was thinking of getting my front bumper smoothed but dont know what to do about the front idicator's? new lights or wiring the idicator somewhere else? thanks ben

    not sure i just rang him up earlyer and said it would be around that, i guess i could get it a tad cheaper if cash but is that expensive spray then?

    just had a quote to have my bonnet, grill and front bumper sprayed and also getting the front bumper smoothed to get rid of fog lights etc, and the bonnet needs to be sprayed both sides, i have been quoted £600 + VAT from retro vw in charlwood i have heard they are good but is that true and is that a good price? cheers Ben

    some are plain but some of the earyler vr's came with vr6 in the mats as a mate has some in his which came with the car. yeah if i find some i will buy a supply to sell. the website is good the only thing is you cant see what they llok like i will might order some and see

    can anybody help, im looking for car mats with vr6 stiched into them but cant find any. i have tried scrapys and ebay but just cant seem to find any. or if any one has any for sale in good condition i could purches? cheers Ben

    aha, yeah might do, well i want to take the battery off for a bit cos i had a lil accident with an old godger and have to re build my front, and when i got home there is a wering noise coming from the right hand side of the block just next to a bit where all the wires go into a black thing, it is silver and it looks like one of the coolant pipes goies into it, im so confuessed but have ignored it and getting on with the re-spray of the bonnet and bumper etc lol

    yeah, ok cheers for that, it was so random thou cos i had the car only 4 days and did like 300miles then bang it over heates, it did it in my polo i had that was the thermostat got stuck, i dont have luck in the first week of buying cars lol

    yeah we got all the air out of it and took it for a burn cos it didnt overheat even with climate on hi, you rekon it may be to do with the water pump or something fixable?

    my car overheated the other day, there are no signs of head gasket going i.e mayo in oil cap, smoking. i had my cousin look at it and he says there may be a blockage somewhere, we started it up when it was cold and it wasnt overheating and the top pipe that the coolant goes throw was hot and the bottom one was cold until we squeezed it then it became hot. im kinda confused to what i can be i have heard the thermostat goes in the vr6. plase can someone help, thanks

    Hi there i have just purched a mk3 golf vr6 on sunday, it is in mint condition apart from the back box, it has a bit of rust appearing and wanted to change it, i have been speaking to a few local people and some have been saying that you can lose power by changing the original exahust system to a different one for e.g. a scorpion up-swift one. i thought i would ask some of you guys and you would most prob know best?
