Ok even when engine is turned off the temp guage shows maximum and when engine is started cold, thinking electrical problem, any ideas?? by the way its an obd1 92 engine

Ok, ive recently changed from a 20vt to a vr but would like to change this to run on throttle bodies, can anybody help me in the route to take as I would like to do the majority of the work myself? Thanks Mark

ok, today i changed the thermostat for a 80 degree and also flushed the water system through and replaced it with new g12 plus some water, according to the guage the stat isnt letting by untill 90 degree and the fan kicks in just after 110 and of at 100, any advise??

the coolant hasnt been changed recently, the water pump has just been changed about 7 months ago

both top and bottom hose are getting hot and the fan is kicking in however not sure if the 2nd speed is kicking in

Ok year 92 engine, the water temp guage starts of ok after about 5 minutes its on 90 degree but then after about 30 minutes it starts rising and did max out as far right as possible but no water loss or steam.... Any ideas??

Was your hoses on the top and bottom of the radiator geetting hot? Im only asking as ive got a problem with my vr going upto 110oC and the fan is kicking in but doesnt seem to do much!!
