TECHNICAL QUESTION, HELP REQUIRED PLEASE!
sirleeofroy replied to HIGHLINE VR6's topic in Engine Maintenance and Problems
Hello mate, i dont really have any experiance with the schrick but from what i have read i think you can get a plate so you can convert it to obd2, as for a 2.9 throttle body, most of them are obd1 as they come on the corrado but if you can lay your hands on a synchro throttle body then ur laughin cos they are obd2! Dont quote me on that but i think its right! -

Hi guys i have recently changed my plugs and leads and also my dizzy cap after my vr would not start easy. Now its back on 6 cylinders but is still a pig to start and when ticking over its fine but if i throttle it it sounds like it missfires, if i throttle it slowly then its ok and will go all the way up the revs. I took it round the block and while i was gentle on the throttle it was fine but as soon as you give it some it dont like it and chugs and struggles tho i do have a blow at the manifold end of the exhaust, would this be a problem with the lambda sensor as vagcom brought up an error

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere i can have my injectors cleaned in or around the bristol area? I suspect 1 of mine is blocked but have a vag com cable on its way to properly diagnose the problem and others!

yea nice 1 for that, seems that 1 is fine so who knows what this wire is for, i just hope its not what is stopping my car from running, trying desperately not to take it to a garage as im low on funds tho i will have a vagcom lead soon so hopefully that will give me an insight to the problem (and others lol)

Hi guys i have an early VR6 with the distibuter and this morning took off my inlet manifold so i could get to my spark plugs, on putting it back together ive yet again been stumped by a plug that really should be plugged in somewhere but ive no idea where and also looking at the unit that sends the "spark" to the dizzy, the plug that plugs into that looks kinda bodged but had no problem running before.. thing is the wire i cant find a home for has the same fitment as the one that looks a bit dodgy.... i had a crazy thought that something had been done and it had been changed for some reason bu
