    Hello to ALL! Re: 1996 VR6 I recently bought a Golf MK3 VR6 Highline and received with it, 1 VW fixed key and 1 tatty (snapped in half!) old non-VW looking remote fob that locks the doors only ( I think the alarm has been deactivated as no blips). There are no markings on the key fob so I cant tell what codes are or who its made by, it has a red plastic lens on the top narrow part of the fob and a metal bit where a key would be but no key is actually on it, it also has the button to pop a key up, but like I say, no key is there. (looks like a copy of a VW fob) I wanted to know if I can get a r

    Hi people I have just removed what I think is the standard Sony cassette head unit and there is 3 connectors in use, a brown one, a black one and a white one which gos straight in the back of the head unit. I was hoping the male blocks from the wires from the car would fit straight in my new units female blocks The brown and black ones fit but I think the white female block rfom the car has the power wires in as this goes straight in the old head unit. Is there an ISO cable out there for this, I cant find one? I can only find ISO's with room for 2 blocks, I need 3 ! Thanks

    Nice rims and thanks but I don't have that kind of money at the moment. It's in at the garage at the moment having £600 worth of work doing and I only just bought her!! I was looking at a £100 old set from ebay or suchlike. Cheers

    My car is totally standard and I'm looking for some wheels that are a bit bigger than my current 15 inchers. What's the biggest I could go on my cars standard set up? Thank you for any help PS - If anyone is selling wheels then I'm certainly interested.

    Hi My drivers seat does not heat up. So I just swapped the little square box (relay?) from under the passenger seat to the drivers seat. and the passenger still works and drivers still doesnt work. Any ideas what I could try next? Thanks

    From the noises my car makes and from what I have read on the forums here, I think I may need some new bearings. The noise does sound like a plane from about 60MPH upwards, a constant drone noise. There is no droning when driving slow about town. Could this be the bearing?

    Hi I bought my first VR6 highline yesterday, I just have a few questions about how these drives. The car is completely standard has no mods. Tyres are almost new. 1) It pulls left a bit and when I do a full lock right turn it feels a bit bumpy through the steering wheel. What could this be? 2) When I get to 60mph it really vibrates through the whole car and the B pillar trim shakes like crazy and its really loud. The guy did say a wheel may need balancing as it has no weights on it. Could this be anything else? 3) Is the suspension set up quite stff on these as there seems to be a bit of roa

    I'm 32 Just about to buy a Golf VR6 Highline 12 yrs no claims 13 years licence clean no points Can anyone suggest a good cheap FULLY COMP insurer. Cheapest so far, £250 excess/fully comp/ £369 premium. Thanks for any help

    Hi there Does anyone know roughly how long this will take a garage to fit or what the total parts and labour costs will be? All I know is that it needs a new steering rack! Thank you
