popped down to vw dealers today he sead to clean the throttle body first and see if that makes any differnts first befor geting a new maf, i can clear the codes but how do you do a reset one more thing today the the coolant light started to flash after about 20 seconds after starting the car header tank topd up ok and the temp gauge stays just on the norm

can anyone help sorted out my oil cooler took the car for a drive came back running ok next time i went out it was not idleling just kept cuting out if you put your foot down it revs ok but as soon as it drops down to idle it cuts out got some codes up with vagcom 00553 mass air flow sensor (g70)28.00 short to b + 00516 closed throttle idle posion switch (f60) cleard the them but 00553 came back i had the car running as i cleard the codes and as i cleard them it cuts the engine out but it starts back up but still not ideling properly

its not the thermost end i need to get off its the other end up by the alternater

i was replaceing my oil cooler the 2 water pipes that come out of it one goes into the engine block the other goes to the plastic coolant pipe which runs along the front of the engine. as i was taking this pipe of it snaped (connection stub on the plastic collant pipe) does anyone know how the plastic coolant pipe which runs along the front of the engine comes out so i can replace it with a new one i have undone 2 bolt on the right hand side so its loos one end how does the other end come out
