  1. They might be worth a try, ill keep my eye out for a pair. Nothing interesting but a little update for my records Just bought a bolt in roll cage from Demon tweeks. Sparco FIA approved. Its a bolt in fitment so can be sold if everything ever goes tits up. Bought a rear strut brace for show as well (i know they don't do anything ha)
  2. I know ha, think I'm going to have to get some proper tyres on them when its up and running, I've seen some road legal 215/45 semi slicks on ebay but worried i won't get them under the arches. Ill cross that bridge when i come to it lol

  4. Forgot i ordered these other day as well
  5. Just got a quick pic of the car with the tailgate propped up against it. Might need some black primer around the edge of the back window, not sure yet.
  6. Just got to wait until tiger seal is dry now and i can go all the way around the aperture with a stanley knife and peal the protective film off so there's a neat edge.
  7. I made it mate he just painted it. Shouldn't be too long now, probably june time i can't wait lol. Where is the rolling road day at?

  9. Definitely built for Go not show now ha. Bonnet on
  10. Adaptorman was here all day yesterday. Got loads done but only got one pic at the minute ha. All brake hoses are fitted, car now has a full set of braided hoses, silicone fluids in and all brakes are bled up. Fibreglass bonnet is fixed down. Just given my fibreglass tailgate mould to my mates dad who works for a carbon fibre company, the deal is if he makes me one he can make his son one for his 6n and keep the mould ha.
  11. A few pics with the wheels painted white. Not much left to do now. The 2 missing hoses
  12. Cheers lads. I'm too impatient haha. Lets hope yours fly's through the M.O.T then. Should be a little pocket rocket hopefully ye lol. Just got my engineers report through so i can change log book to a 2.8..........Dreading the insurance quote i get back.
  13. Looks like a pile of scrap at minute, the end seems so far away. I'm so used to having everything done in a week lol. Its been 4 month now since i took it off road. Some straight 38mm pipe for tubular manifold got a new set of performance leads as the old ones were getting a bit worse for ware and some other bits along the way. A pic of my new rear braided hoses And just ordered some silicone brake fluid (as recommended by Pete) Seat welded in All red rears fitted New Lexan windows in that actually fit properly All red german rear fitted Seats fitted
  14. Took it down to my local engineering company and they've re-tapped it for me, all is well luckily. A Helicoil would have been my next option lol. The calipers a complete unit as well unfortunately. I'm also still waiting on my fibre glass tailgate from the paint shop, I'm dying to see it finished and painted so i can get it fitted. Ill get some pics up as and when i get it back. Cheers
  15. Finally got them on and guess what, I've only gone and cross threaded the brake hose into the caliper. It only went a few thread then stopped and i though oh no. Took the caliper off and the first 2 threads are knackered. Unsure what to do now. A pic of them fitted though. They look bigger in person. That's what they all say lol.
  16. Oh and my fibreglass tailgate has just gone under the knife today. I couldn't fit it looking like that ha.
  17. Just been round to garage for frist time in about a month ha. My engines going rusty and growing mould on it lol Poly-carbonate sunroof Poly-carbonate Rear Quarter Windows Momo 280mm Steering Wheel With Porsche Horn Press Seats Tubular Manifold Jigsaw Stock Pile Of Parts - 4 New Bearings Porsche calipers, adapters, braided hoses, rear discs, Green Stuff Pads
  18. So a little update, Put 9j rims on the front and had it re-mapped. It made 282bhp but when i went down the strip at santa pod i only ran a 15 second so took drastic action. First i stripped it, put a fibreglass seat in and perspex windows and sun roof I then made a fibreglass bonnet (and im on with making a fibreglass tailgate at the minute) Underside Top side Then bought this Garrett GT35R turbo. Dual Bearing. The a/r of the turbo is 70, so the spool time is quite quick, oil lubed and water cooled, the inlet of the turbo is polished which is an optional extra when buying from Garrett.
  19. Bit of an update, a few shots of the car, Audi handle conversion completed. and Ive messed up the rear arches from trying a D.I.Y roll ha. Im booked in in the morning for a custom rear arch job. Also just got an 044 pump and some Piper 264 racing cams, anybody anything about these?
  20. Yeah thats the downside to the R32 sump its all coming back now lol, cheers
  21. Cheers, The handlings not too bad considering ha. Its got a head spacer in mate and running 8psi to be safe ha.
  22. Cheers for the comments lads, ye it was a tight squeeze getting it in haha, also the sump was ridiculously low to the ground when the car was lowered so i had to higher it which isn't how i want it but is safe. i think i could put an R32 sump and pump on for an extra 2" clearance, so ive been told anyway.
