OLD HIPPY

Thanks for the replies, at least it doesn't seem unusual. The technician in me wants to know what the cause is so I will investigate further and try and post a definative answer to the problem.

Being new to VR6's I'm not used to all the "right" noises. Question is- When the engine is cold there is a "whirring " noise on start up, this decreases as the engine gets warm. As a motorcycle technician I could take an educated guess at it being the cam chain but I would have thought it would be rattly when cold going quieter as the engine expands as it gets warm. Any ideas would be appreciated. *-)
