  1. BLOODY'ELL £178 a month, how the hell do you afford to pay for that!?!?!? I thought paying £50 for a 1990 Golf GTi Cabriolet when I was 18 was expensive but £178, madness!
  2. I suppose working for them comes in handy, although no increase, I was certainly impressed, and didn't expect that at all. At least now I can get some road tax and parking permit sorted out, (oh and some petrol) before pay day! RESULT!
  3. Before I got (getting as I get it tonight) my VR6, I drove around a 1999 1.4l Polo Open Air, it was shit I know. Anyhow i'm 26, fully comp with 5 yeas no claim discount, no accidents or convictions, with my wife on as a named driver. I called up aviva today to find out how much of an increase its going to be to swap over to a late P plate VR6 Highline. HOW MUCH!? What no increase what so ever!?!?!? So my monthly payments are still £24 a month!!!!??? FOOOKING AWESOME! HOW GOOD IS THAT!

    VR6 v G40

Was having a chin wag with my brother last night who has a Polo G40 and we were talking about whose car is going to be quicker, and I was wondering whats more likely to win in say a 1/4 mile? So a standard G40 v standard VR6?
  8. I should think the best, reliable and enjoyable car I've ever had was a mk2 8v GTi on a J plate, in Atlas grey. God I truely enjoyed driving that car.
  9. Awesome cheers dudes. Are the pannels difficult to get hold of? The passanger wing is a bit rough so I wouldn't mind replacing it?
  10. 69 Beetles! FTW I am still on the look out for my first beetle the orange 1969 UKR527H. I'll find it and have it again one day.
  11. My last Golf a GTI 16v, I loved that car. A 1983 Golf 1.5 ratty as hell. The white bug, is my 72 1302s one owner with 64k original miles, the black one was just a scrapper I got hold of for cheap. a 1.6D Caddy lowered Polo GT Another Caddy Scirocco I rode about in for a week
  12. My first car a 1969 Bug with a 1.6 Twin Webber Carbs. My old camper van, took this all the way to France and back, although had to sell when I went to Uni. The Wife's first car, i got it for her 21st, a great little bug. My 1990 Golf GTi cabriolet, which I still have. My 1.8GTi Caddy, fast and low as fook!
  13. Awesome. Oh you're from Norwich as well, cool man what do you drive!? Oh don't go looking for it!
  14. No noises, the engine is actually quiet. Although the seller does also have an induction kit for it as well.
  15. Morning all, long time member none time poster.... lol. Right how-dos. I'm Tony, predominatly a early VW owner, i've currently got a 1972 1302s Beetle, a Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet and up until recently a 1999 VW Polo Open Air which was my daily. HOWEVER the poor Open Air finally gave up the ghost, a combination of a very low car and big speed bumps mixed in with a big bang on a pot hole reduced the radiator to pieces and leading said Open Air to overheat and cook itself..... Thankfully my brother loaned me his 1991 Polo G40, a car which truely scares the crap out of me, however I am getting us
