    Anyone no how much weight is saved and if any performance gains are noticable by removing rear seats, carpet, parcel shelf, spare wheel etc. Im thinking about starting to strip the car and no once i start il just keep going. Just wondered if anyone new how much weight is saved roughly and is it worth it for the performance gains. Also thinking of removing front heated leather seats and replacing with lightweight bucket seats and harness so interior shall be for sale shortly. Cheers in adavnce

    Yea there really good fun just wana do more now lol. Also seen an F1 experience which includes overnight accomadation and get to drive 5 various cars and finally an F1 car from 2003. Costs £1500 for 2 people tho. lol

    Cant see why u cant install your own petrol warning light but generally you just fill up when the neddle drops down below quater.

    My day rally driving experience in oxford. Really good day up there and big thanks to vison motorsport for hospitality and training. Was well chuffed as had fastest lap time of the day.     How easy was fitting of those seats then did you buy the subframes for them. Only ask as there the seats im thinking of getting.

    You can order that part from ford and its half the price sure someone on here will put a part number up for you. think its bout £45 from ford

    good point where would you suggest to put axle stands at the rear to get the rear beam off then. couldnt quite see where you put yours in that picture.

    Have got to work now but money will be ordering my coilovers and various bushes etc. so not all bad.

    Yea probally true seen a skyline with screamer pipe coming out of the side just after front wheel. Looks great and sounds even better

    No worries mate i had to order a bit of silicone hose for mine cant remeber size something like 74mm or sumink to join bmc to the maf. If you get chance take some pics and may be able to help further.

    Would be really helpfull if they did. But i suppose by the time they do the majority of people will no the car inside out so wont need it lol

    More info would be usefull. lagging do you mean its unresponsive? Is it a new BMC or secondhand? Have you got oil on the maf if so try cleaning it? Are all jubile clips done up tightly etc If you sign up for premium mebership there a guide to fitting BMC in the knoweldge vault. The job is rather simple and should take no longer then 30mins. Have you got any pics of how uve fitted it

    I take it no then lol. Just the little cover at bottom of gearbox we forgot to put bk on when doing my chains and clutch nothing major dont think tony even has his on.

    Looks like a good cheaper option im thinking i could get all the parts i need for a turbo setup cheaper then expected.
