Hi all, please help! My 'less than a genius' girlfriend was vacuuming the car out (who else! ) the other day and left the radio on for hours, running the battery out, thus cutting the power to the radio etc. I've tried the sometimes standard unlock codes of 0000 and 1111 but no luck and now its locked. Can I fix this and find out the real unlock code without me having to cross the VW garage with silver??!!! Thanks

what kinda timescales/cost/performance benefits are we talking about on the 4mo turbo upgrade sparkz mate?

I am fortunate enough to have the rare Bosch Xenon headlights with twin indicators rather than fog integrated in them so... Has anyone ever put front foglights on their v64mo? If so, could you give me some advice as I'm considering it but unsure of changing euro switch, wiring etc?

Crisis averted! Headlight washers DO work after a little fiddling around, and I have now ordered the same headlight via GSF at a princely sum of £264! Thanks for everyone's help.

Anyone know of any 12-pin angel eyes this side of the atlantic, before I go and buy a boring gas discharge xenon headlight???

Found the opposite of what I need on ECS, so having to send the lights back. It would appear that my lights are aftermarket one's made by Bosch, so I'll be forking out £250+ to replace the cracked one instead now . All the angel eyes I've found are to replace a standard headlight with 10-pin plug and wiring, not the rare upgraded one's I have which have 12-pin plug and wiring. Although looking at the wiring it looks original so someone chose this optional extra when they bought the car methinks.

Back to my first plight, I have found 12-10 pin headlight plug converters, but only in the US, can anyone tell me where to find them over here, someone must have them, but I'm all googled out! It'll save me sending the lovely new angel eyes back!

I know they should come on with the windscreen washers, but they don't. There is obviously a motor somewhere that drives them, I'll look in the manual. Thanks.

Can anyone help as I have just pissed myself off completely! I ordered a pair of angel eye headlights for my V64mo only to find that my car has gas discharge halogen headlights that have a 12-pin electrical connection in stead of the 10-pin on a standard headlight. I am about to end them back as they will not fit, any ideas on where I can find compatible one's or convert these ones??? Also, while attempting to fit these I found I have headlight washers (!) but they do not appear to work, any suggestions? Have I missed a button or switch somewhere that operates them?

Anyone know the best place to get the anniversary boot spoiler from the GTI? Think it'll look good on my 4mo but can't seem to find it in the usual places..

Looking at the pic of a proper one, the red bit looks inset inside a raised chrome edge, which mine does not have, so it must've been changed at some stage.

I have the factory fitted sat nav system with cd changer in my 4mo, is it possible to fit an ipod connection to that in some way? If so, where do I look to buy?

Ok, silly question probably for all those that know, but how come my V6 badge on the back is all chrome rather than the 6 being red like all the others I've seen? Its buggin me so much I might change it!

Has anyone else got the same problem that my friend and I have in that the sunroof drainage holes are not draining the water, probably beacuse they are blocked, causing the water to overflow into the car down the door seam and into the visor lights!?? Any DIY solution?
