  4. Alright chaps did an oil change at the start of january and already its at the minimum mark! Checked it a few weeks ago and it was half way between min and max on the dipstick so thought I'd keep an eye on it. Found it was very low this morning. Haven't noticed any on the ground before or found any leaks yet. So... valve stem oil seals maybe? Cheers, Ross

Have only tried the front drivers side as haven't had much time, will see if the other sides any different 2moro. 14. Cheers for the replies... Just running standard brakes with et20 all round, didn't think clearance would be an issue! So looks like i'll be getting some spacers hopefully 10mm each side should sort it? What ones people generally use, FK?

  16. My Borbet A's finally came yesterday and as per the title the inside of the rim is grinding on the front brake pads. Never heard of any problems when fitting the 7.5j's! Any suggestions?? They are 7.5j all round 16" 5x100. Anyone had similar problems? Would shaving a bit off them be a bad idea? All help appreciated I'm desperate to get them on! Cheers, Ross p.s don't really wanna use spacers!
  17. I think the bush was changed for the MOT back in January, I'll check the paperwork when I get a chance. Also it doesn't do it when reversing and seems to go away when the cars been running for a while if that helps! Cheers Devildub
  18. First post! Alright guys I've got a '95 Golf Vr6 which has done just over 100,000 miles now. For the last two weeks or so there has been what I can only describe as a creaking sort of noise that only seems to happen when pulling away. There is also a scraping/grinding sound when the weight shifts as I let off the accelerator. I'm guessing the two are related. Seems to be coming from the front driver's side wheel area. I'm not an expert by any means but when changing a track rod end last week we couldn't see anything wrong in that area *-) So has anyone had this before or have any ideas wha
