    These kind of plates are illegal. Two points to bear in mind. the police ANPR system is there for everyones good, so a) if you are run over by a stolen car,as i was 2 years ago, or perhaps closer to the heart of a lot of us, if your pride and joy is stolen, the ANPR wont be able to read anything other than legal style plates. so lets modify our cars in lots of other ways but keep plates legal, it might be to our benefit!!

    they look great cadguy, how was the installation? are the instructions good? does it irritate you that the temp gauge is in f not c ? cheers. chris

    Hi all, new to the forum, had my vr6 2 days now, and love it. However, there only seems to be 1 light working on the instrument cluster, and only really faintly illuminates the speedo. none of the other instruments are lit at all, so i guess its time to replace the lot. Has anyone done this, and if so, is the job a pain in the ass? any recommendations for any particular kit...any special tools required? i'd like the red lights as thats what in the rest of the car. I'd also like to replace the dials with the "reverse glow" type that look nice. I'm just over the M4 from The Phirm, would they be

    h, i'm a new vr6 owner. great looking forum. Ive just bought a august 98 vr6, and was wondering if its a mk3 or 4, as its r on the crossover date. chassis number starts vwvzzz1h. thanks
