does anyone know i have just looked at the timming and it all looks good and i have changed the cam sensor

i have just tried to start my vr but the engine turns over and bangs every now and again looked at the timing and it all looks ok does anyone know what else it could be

i have just supercharged my mk2 golf vr and i have done all the timing chains according to the user manual.have just tried to start it but i have a problem the engine turns over but does not start. it turns over a few times then just bangs. is there a way of checking the timing without taking out the engine. cheers

is it ok to disconnect the vr6 ecu and reconnect it will it mess anything up

hi all i have changed all the wiring in my mk2 vr just done it but i have got no spark on the plugs and the fuel pump does not pirme on ing.does anyone know what is wrong cheers jon

hi i have a mk2 vr conversion and i need a whole new headlight wiring loom from the fuse box to the head lights and just need to know can i use the standerd mk2 light loom or is it a mk3 vr any help cheers

this is the first time i have done this i filled the bolt up with oil then fitted should i take the bolt out and just put it back in without oil in

as above just changed my timing chains but when i do the top tensioner bolt up the engine wont turn over. i loosen it off the engine turns over but oil pours out the tiny hole can any one help thanks alot

i am doing a vr supercharged and just wondering would it be worth fitting a lightend flywheel or just keen the standerd cheers

hi just tried taking my valves out of my head but my spring comp is hitting the head do i need a different spring comp or is there a different way
