    not connected the ecu to the laptop yet. its just got a map from storm developments to get it started.

    hi all have just put all the wiring into my mk3 r32 but have a bit of a problem.Everything works on the std loom side of things but when i turn the engine over i have no spark and i don't think the injectors open because the spark plugs are dry. The light on the emerald ecu stays red. I have read that the light should be green when the engine turns over. I don't think the ecu is reading the crank sensor. Would this cause the problems? Is there any way of testing this? can anyone help cheers jon

    does anyone know where i can get another oil feed that screws into the oil filter. it comes with the vortech v-9f kit i have snapped it i dont know what to do can anyone please help cheers jon

    alright chap is was all because the engine didnt turn over quick enough so i just put some thicker wire from the battery to the starter. now it drives perfect thanks alot for your help bud

    i am wanting to put an extra water temp gauge in would a machanical one be ok or do i need an electrical one cheers

    i have just rebuilt the engine there is quite alot more than usal but itsonly comminig out the brether not out the exhaust

    i have finally started my vr but there is alot of smoke comming out of the oil cap and breather does anyone know what could cause this.

    i have just rebuilt my vr and when it turns over it sounds like the battery is flat but is brand new. have i got 2 much compression or are the chains tight if so does anyone know what i can do to fix this

    hi all i have just rebuilt my vr and am trying to start it but all is does is bang every now and again. i have just taken off the injectors and turned the engine over and the injectors only sometimes let fuel out thay dont always work does anyone know what could cause this cheers jon

    yea they are but i took them all off 2 change i think they are on right but just need 2 check. the prob is my engine turns over but does not start it just bangs once or twice and i have checked the timming and that is spot on you got any ideas chap
