Hi, i need to replace my MAF, what is the part no. ? also i've been reading how you can use a 2.0L maf sensor in a Mk4 vr6? does the same appply in mk3's... also i keep geting this fault ; 00522 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (G62) 27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent i presume i need to change this sensor? is it the blue temp sensor? is that the one just under the inlet manifold on the right of the engine next to a yellow one!! ( sorry i'll by a haynes soon as ) sorry found the sensor now! also are thses faults likly to be limked to the maf or an improperly aligned throtl
  2. thanks, the maf code has come back, is it worth cleaning this as its an intermitant fault or should i just replace? cheers o update: have changed the cam sensor and wow thats better completely different car! much improved fuel economy too... thanks all....
  3. thanks helpful link! in actual fact the fault code is; VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-S Control Module Part Number: 021 906 256 Component and/or Version: MOTRONIC M3.8.1 HS V02 Software Coding: 00000 Work Shop Code: WSC 01315 1 Fault Found: 00515 - Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor (G40) 29-00 - Short to Ground So i presume this is the sensor itself ? do need to realign the throttle body after changing? can i do that with unregistered vagcom? thanks again o

Hello, i'm new to the forum so i'll post a hello later... but can anyone help ihave just got a new car and have now got vagcom up and running with these errors 00668 Battery Power Voltage Supply (Terminal 30) Signal to low. 00515 P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor (Hall Effect Sensor) - No Signal (G40) : Check CMP, if OK, replace distributor 00561 Mixture Adjustment Control 00553 Mass Air Flow Sensor -G70 Short to B+ intermittent 00522 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62 I have cleared the faults and so far they've all stayed gone except the cam sensor. is it worth trying to clean this par
