    Ladies and Gents, I have a headlight problem, after taking advice from a chap at a local garage as my current lights are shot. Saying he could fit some Mk4 headlights for me. So i went and found a pair from the scrappy and decided to try and fit them myself. Doesn't seem to work, looks like it would need some rework to fit them in. Can this be done and how? Please help.     Cheers dudes for you help on this. Turned out to be a loose crank speed sensor connection. As had a rumage at the weekend. Seems fine since. Fingers crossed. Thanks again. Spike

    Hey dudes, Excuse my ignorance what is a MAF unit? Also does anybody know where i might be able to get hold of a engine speed sensor? Cheers Matt

    Hello, just joined the club, site looks really good and useful to vr6 owners. I have a problem with my mk3 golf vr6 P-reg. The car usually starts from cold, but will cut out after 5 mins or so at low speeds/revs then will not start again. I leave it a while say 10-15 min and it restarts. This has been going on for some time, had auto elec out and he bypassed the immobilser fuel pump and ignition circuits. But this did'nt work as i still have the fault. I think it might be the crank sensor but not sure. Also the car would not start if left for 2 hours, haven't been using the car recently due to
