    thanks for ya comments chaps i was driving the polo today, its a great car only 66k bought it 3 mths ago from an old lady in chiswick west london paid £100 with tax n mot. the mk1 golf i spotted by chance driving to a mates house it was in a garage with paint tins and bicycles and allsorts of crap all over it, been garaged for 6 yrs bodywork is very good its only a 1.1 with gti spec but would make a great project.

    my vr with german plates and badgeless grille, but now changed to vento front...my sons ed1 G60..in background. the vento front...soon to be badgeless! got these to go on....once the coilys are on!!! BBS RS 16x9.5 16x7.5.....will update soon..

    hi all and a happy new year, just a feeler to see if any mk3 vr owners have kw variant 1 coilys on there cars, if so what are they like? rimstyle in kent say they drop 100mm is this so?...any help on this most appreciated as im set to buy some in next few days....thanks

    Hi there and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all from the nomads Well our first meet went well i think the total car count was 17 which was more than we expected and the weather held out for us which was also a bonus. It was good to see a nice mix of dubs from caddys, polo derby, corrado and golfs old and new, could do with a few more vr6,s (cough! cough!)....     hi chaps whats the best stuff for cleaning mk3 dashes etc? ive tried loads and all seem to smudge or leave marks. also leather door cards and seats...any help most appreciated.

    dude replace all the top struts front and rear buy in kit form from gsf or europarts and you get the bearings. even if you think your strut bush mounts(rubber things) are ok it would be best to renew as the fk coily kit has uprated shocks and will punish part worn or old monts, this may cost a bit more but the ride quality will be much better. hope this helps you

    dude i just priced up these bits from vw and chains x2 were £80 and tensioners x2 were £55. for genuine parts, you could buy cheaper but gsf said they can only get tensioners and not the chains.
