    has anymone got any info on how you can tell if your head casket has gone or on the way. please bear in mind that i'm not very good under the bonnet. also, what sort of price would i be looking at to get my timing chains done. and where would be a good place to get them done apart from VW as i could imagine they will rip me off.

    Just bought my second golf vr6, had alot of bad luck with my other one. just reading a post about oil temp, and that got me thinking. my oil temp sits around the 100-104 mark. is this ok or should i worry.
