weather its climatronic or not you can turn the air con off, it just switches off the electromagnetic clutch in the compressor, the pulley wheel still turns but nothing inside turns while its switched off, i wouldn't remove as you have to remove the dash to remove the heater box so u can fit a none air con system, that said if you do want to take it out can i have first dibs please

not to sound stupid but if they broke them out the surely they wont fit correctly so easy to spot, but you sure that they aint fell out if someone has reversed into the front of your car or something???

good find dude, i stand corrected, i'll remember that next time i get one thats faulty

yes it is a legal requirement to have side repeators, either in the wing or in the mirror like new cars do
-
they are labelled VW but they are actually made by a company called scorpian, the only problem now is they closed down a few years ago, the other problem is it is difficult to recode the alarm fobs and we used to remove the alarm unit and fob and send them both away to scorpian to be recoded but as they dont exist anymore its impossible too now, we now just remove the old alarm and leave it to the customer to get a new one fitted
if you dont have alarm fobs then have a look under the bonnet and see if there is a alarm siren fitted somewhere, if not the there probably isnt any alarm fitted

2 o rings per injector, 12 in total just incase you dont get enough, get some vasiline, smear a small amount over all the seals and then refit, should fit easier now
-
yeah the pump should be fitted, it works by pumping water around when the engine is turned off to help stop the boiling effect of hot water sitting in the engine with no water pump to move it about
-
cool well it looks like im going to spray it after the new year, like the black and polished look but cant be arsed polishing it lol

Hi all,
Just wondering those who have painted their own inlet manifolds what paint did you use?
was it just normal paint or special heat paint
cheers

well guess none of you guys have any extra gauges inside, after doing my engine rebuild im paranoid about my oil pressure so have ordered on of these, went for the black face version with green lighting to go with the mk3 dash light colour
from a company called http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/productdetails.asp?product=DG%20208|373
to fit in this

Fitting a steering wheel in a mk 3 vr6 with a airbag

just take the keys out of the ign before you remove the plug off the back of airbag, no need to do anything else
if you want to be extra careful the take the neg lead off the battery first
