I just don't use it any more, it's my 2nd car, i've done about 4000 miles in 18 months! The car's only got 41k on it and it's mint so I think it's time to advertise it and see what happens.. Just not sure if I should return it to standard or not...

Thanks mate but I too have them on my car, like you, they were on the car when I bought it.. I'm thinking of putting my car back to standard as it'll be for sale shortly so I may end up selling them!

cheers guys, yea i agree it can take an age to find the right one, i was very lucky finding my last high line, it was the 2nd one i viewed and it was sucha bargain! Wish I hadnt sold it now, most of the "decent" vr's are up for more than my sub80k 3dr mulberry sold for a year ago, it's crazyness! I guess its "scene tax" lol

Well I spent the best part of 5 hours in a car today driving a ridiculous round trip to go and look at two "very good condition" vr6's for sale. Not happy!! They were both utter shite and today was a total waste of time. Why do people bother lying and wasting other peoples time by writing utter s**t about their cars?!?! The first one was owned by a kid who didn't know anything about the car he said he'd owned for 3 years. It looked like it'd had some sort of coolant leak weeks ago and it had NO water in it at all. yea that's not too bad at all VW quote a power figure of 174bhp from the factory. The engines vary so much though depending on how hard their lives have been lol. I had a 1997 OBD2 that made 199bhp and it was standard except from a ram air filter.

Hello All, it's been a while for some Hope you're all keeping tip top and all that. As many of you may know, It saddens me to say my VR6 has been sold And i've only gone and bought another Golf havent i! Not a VR6 this time though, a mk4 Gt Tdi 6 speed. It's a 3 Dr in Reflex Silver. I'm almost ashamed to post on here any more but i needed an economic daily to get me to work and back you see. Fear not, I will return with an EVEN Phatter VR6 next time around and that's a promise!!
