You have ordered a new Transporter? , as I'll be selling mine soon
-
don`t forget, if your passat runs inline engine it will have the torsen type 4wd basically same as the A4 Quattro, s4 rs6 and so on , which is perm 4wd but split 70-30 i think when slip is detected more goes to the rear, a3 and tt run haldex system which is electronic, as does the r32 and 2.8 v6 bora and golf, mk1 skoda octy and seat freetrack, rear diff only kicks in when the abs detects slip

3ft long you`ll hear the screamer pipe 6ft long you won`t

250 hp 243 ft/lb at max 1 bar boost (thinks thats what it maxed out at?)
there`s a good 100bhp missing there mate , which turbo are you running and how big is diameter of the exhaust and downpipe?
-
exactly craggsy, should have enough revs out of the corner hit boost quite quickly
-
lol soz 1 bar, 14.7psi
-
only running 370bhp @1psi for my quickest time
-
sweet 18th over all for me and only 2 runs this year a well cc668

its ok making your own, but if the maf isn`t in the correct position the car will be mapped wrong, i changed my home made one to a C2 maf housing completely changed the car , but it did have to be remapped again it was smoother and stonger,

lets say 200 notes steve coz this is gonna kick ass
you don`t need to say that mate 8-) , lets say £100 every 10th of a second i beat you by , should stand me in for a grand :-p
-
excellent , you`d better start saving for the 100 notes cos by the time they spool up i`ll be finshed lol
-
or just use the the external wastegate spring pressure and just use the avcr to read boost rather than control it
-
mines 4wd too

So you have something to prove get your car out and race it, i would like to see you get over 500bhp out of your VR if you drive one never mind 700bhp out of a 1.8t
might just do that
currently at 465bhp at 1.2bar not a problem wait until i turn the boost up
i do drive one well 3 really 24v bora, mk1 vr6t and mk2 vr6t

What do you do with the rear mount on the engine to mount it in a mk1?
I would love some ideas and how do you reinforce the chassis for the engine?
to answer both in one, put in a mk2 subframe

all cars that run GEN1 diffs are exactly the same http://dutchdub.com/images/Forumpics/hal15.jpg
GEN2 http://pixcluster.freshworx.de/2009-03/pix_77.25.25.2051237935474.18737700.jpg
think these are found on cars above 2005 not sure on year but all run the same ratio

mafia wars /mob wars ?
-
defo no , grindddd it does so
-
looks like its possible but with 1/2ton of metal added, most of it welding wire , i`d go with the tried and tested mk2 rear frame converted to haldex
