  1. I have a corrado vr6 so i don't know exactly about your golf where the hole will be but usally there is a rubber bung placed through the bulk head, on the cars i have installed ice into its usally been on the passenger side and it is fairly easy to spot. Bascailly remove the bung and pirce a hole the size of the power cable, replace the bung and push the cable through, you might have to remove some of the dash the other side or just lift up the carpet, for instance there is a little tray in the way on the corrado. I assume you are installing an amp? I would recommend running the power down one
  2. Nice one, that two more things i can check, I didn't phsyically change the blub, basically if you tap it close to your ear you can hear the filiment rattle about, but i could swap it over just to be certain My dad came up with the idea that it might be the main beam switch on the stalk. So i'll try that too, when it's fixed i'll update this thread... Cheers G
  3. Howdo I have a 92 Corrado VR and the headlights refuse to come on, the odd thing is the side lights work fine, and i can flash the main beam. I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box, plus i have swapped the switch, but still nothing. There is 12V perminant at the the connector block + 12V switched, the earth seemed fine too, is there another fuse / relay that i have missed some where?? I have also had the blubs out to inspect the filiments, they are fine too, bloody headlight out job though, vw are foo king jokers arn't they?? Any ideas greatly appriciated. Have fun on your long weekend G
  4. Howdo I personally don't know about the actual wish bone but I have recently changed springs/dampers (with help from my matey mark) on my corrado, similiar i think in some respects to your mk3, i would say your going to need spring compressors as well to disconnect the strut from the bottom of the whish bone. If your are still up for the job I would personally change the anti rollbar bushes as they get a lot of abuse, and if your pockets are big enough replace the standard rubber bushes with uprated jobbies, if the strut is loose why not change the top mounts as well, mine were £11 each from
  5. Just my 2 cents I had a similar problem with my K&N induction kit, it turned out to be the whole thing was shaking too much causing the MAF problems, I fabricated a much stronger bracket out of aluminium it hasn't stopped since. Touch wood. Good Luck Geoff
