  1. Checked the plugs and cleaned them, but still to no avail,
  2. Having inspected the dash further, it is the Oil and Water lights that are glowing dimly. I haven't a clue as to why they do as obviously they should be off when the engine has started. Has anyone any ideas? Cheers,
  3. I wish it was that easy , the lights are the actual lights for each indicator, eg. the light for the temp, oil, brake etc.. not the actual light for the dash. Thanks for the reply any how
  4. My golf has been off the road for about 2 months (due to an engine repair), now having got the engine running right again, I have a minor (but irritating problem). When the car is running the dashboard lights are still lit but quite dull when they should be off. What could the problem be, a bad ground/earth, if so where would I pinpoint / fix the problem Cheers, Jam
  5. 1004?? sorry mistype , its a 1994
  6. Hi all, I've been having a "stuttering" problem with my Auto transmission, if i'm going between 1.5 revs and in 5th gear it will start stuttering if i'm over 2k revs then it's alright. So I've tested it with a snap-on diagnostic tool, it's coming up a a fault code of "00652 - Transmission Range Controller, Not a plausible signal, Error occurs intermittent" So I've tried googling it, and come up with a conclusion that there's a problem with Tranmission Control Module. But the thing is I'm not sure where on the car this is, does anyone know this. Its a Golf VR6 1004. Thanks inadvance
  7. Sorry to invade in this discussion, (being my very first post as well !amazed ), i've been using 37psi on my fronts which are 205,40 ZR17 on a golf mk3 vr6, but after having read this posts i think i should reduce it to something like 32s
