As the subject. Are they compatible? i.e. are all the exhaust mounts in the same place. My buddies GTI got written off and he has kindly donated some bits off his for my VR6. Bonus

That was what mine was doin before christmas. Changed the plugs and leads. No difference. Then took the coil off and had big cracks all over it. In Short sounds like a failing Coil. -
Never make it easy do they.

Took the Coil off today, and it has cracks all over it. Can anyone advise me on where to go to get a replacement coil. Cheers -
Hi guys My 96 vr6 golf was misfiring just after christmas so I changed plugs and leads. Oil seemed to have found itself on the inside of the old HT leads and on the lower end of the sparkplugs. After the change the engine still seems to rum lumpy / misfire. So I checked if there was a spark getting to all the cylinders. There only seems to be a spark coming from the front three cylinders. This seems odd because I would of thought the car would'nt run as well as it is with only three cylinders firing. has anyone any advice they can give me. Thanks Phil
