  3. Hello Peeps, I am about to purchase some TT Competition wheels but am still unsure if the 323mm brembo brakes will fit. Could anyone who has them or has seen them (confirmed) let me know please. I want to have 17s on my car as I think they look the best in size. Do these brakes fit with all (most) 17" wheels? Thanks for all your help. Korsou
  4. Hello Vag-Hag, Thank you very much for you comments. Please do sent me pics of your wheels. Do they fit the Brembo brakes with 323mm rotors? Do any of you guys know if the Audi TT 17" Polished 5 spoke wheels fit these calipers & rotors? Thanks a lot for your help. Korsou

Will all 17" wheels fit my brakes? If not , do you guys know which will certainly fit? The car is on a Caribbean island so I need to have them shipped and therefore need to be certain the wheels will for over my wheels. I currently have Ei

  7. Hello Gents, Hope all is great on your side. I need some help. My car has been parked for a while as I live abroad and I recently came back home and wanted to drive my car but had a bad surprise. My clutch seems to be sticking and stays on the floor. What could it be? My car is a 1997 Golf VR6 with a 5 speed. If I am not mistaken the clutch and mater cylinder is the same unit. Any and all help would be higly appreciated. Thanks and regards, Manuel
  8. Hello RysaVRT, Thanks for your post. I have already acquired a set of Brembo calipers and rotors etc. Do send me a pic of you kit as I have some friends who might be interested. Does anybody know where I can get a rebguilt kit for the Brembo brakes? I plan on taking mine apart to paint etc and would like to use new seals. Thanks, Korsou
  9. Hello Richirich37, I am getting the Brembo kit with rotors and all this weekend. I will keep you Gents posted. In regards to the wheels I fully agree. Am looking also at the S3 wheels for the car. We will see. I do agree with little money means rough shape. I´ll keep all informed
  10. Hello Gents, Am looking for a short shifter for my VR6 but it seems it is harder to find than I thought. I have a US-Spec 1997 5 speed GOLF VR6. Any help would be highly appreciated. I have found this on e-bay but it does not really fully convince me, has anyone tried them? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381160430779?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Thanks Gents, Korsou

  12. Hello, In case he has changed to the BREMBO calipers, which pump should he use? I am about to install the BREMBO kit on my car and have the 288 as the original setup. Thanks for the help. Korsou
  13. Hello Gents, You guys ROCK !!!! Awesome knowledge base. I am looking for the complete brake setup in Spain but they seem to be hard to find. Another question, are the Brembo brakes better than the AP Racing brakes? I think the AP Racing are 312mm and the Brembo 323 right? Anyone selling some good AUDI Comps? I really like how those look on the car but at the same time am thinking of getting something less flashy. Still need to think about it. Thanks yet again for the help. Have a great one, Korsou
  14. Awesome, great looking car for sure. Do you know if these brakes will fit with the AUDI TT wheels ( example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-TT-17X7-5-POLISHED-SILVER-FACTORY-ORIGINAL-WHEEL-RIM-58726-/121475275216?hash=item1c487d99d0 ) Do you know what offset the wheels need to have? Thanks yet again, Manuel
  15. Richi, Your car looks BAD-ASS !!!!!!! The wheels are 17x8 right? It doesn't rub in the back? I was thinking of getting the same Cupra wheels but I think they are 18" and I would want 17" on my car not 18. Thanks once again for the info. I assume it is the same 6mm spacer IbizaPartyBoy was mentioning. One last question, did you use the Leon braided brake-lines or do the regular VR6 ones work as well? Thanks a lot, Manuel
  16. Hello Richi, That looks awesome !!!!! What is a wee metal packer? So you just got the rotors, calipers and carriers and it all worked with no mods at all? Is it possible for you to confirm 100% as you did not do it yourself. No offense !!! Could you post a picture of your car completed with the wheels? If you have the size etc for the wheels that would also help as I know I will run into that later on. Thanks a lot, Korsou
  17. Hello IbizaPartBoy, Thanks for your response. I have the 288mm rotors on my car right now. So does it fit from what you know? My car is a US-Spec car, does that make a difference? Where should I have posted this? Figured since it was under BRAKES it was correct. Thanks for the comments. Any other people who can help or have done this? Thanks, Korsou
  18. Hello Gents, I have a US-Spec Mk3 Vr6 Golf with 280mm front brakes. I was looking to get the Seat Leon Cupra front Brembo calipers and rotors but am not sure if it will work. Do any of you know? Do I need to change the hub or will it be enough with carriers, calipers and rotors? Thanks for the help. Manuel
  19. Hello Craggsy, Do you know if anyone has done this and if so who it would be? No need to replace hubs? Any help would be great. Thanks
  20. Guys, it is from a Seat Leon Cupra R with 225Hp and it is from a 2004 +/- car. The rotors are 323mm and Brmbo Calipers. Thanks for the help gents.
  21. Hello Guys, I have been away for a while due to several reasons, fully recovered and back on track . I have a question, I have a 1997 VW Golf VR6 US-Spec. It has factory 288mm brakes with 15" wheels. I want to perform a brake upgrade and a friend of mine has a complete set of hub, rotors & Brembo calipers of a Seat Leon Cupra. Does anyone know if these fit my car or what I have to do to make them fit? My friend has a MK4 Golf he was going to fit the brakes on. Do I need to chage hubs? Any help would be highly appreciated. Regards, Korsou
  22. Hello Lukey, Yes I fully agree, I am happy as can be with the brakes on my car, no doubt, they have saved me from several potential scratches . I was asking since I also have a Nissan 200SX which I have put bigger brakes and I ended up taking the ABS unit off since it would activate all the time. Iguess More Brake Clamping = More Wheel Locking. Just a thought and wahted to see what the overall experience was. Thanks
  23. One more question, if you install the 312 rotors, since there is more clamping force does the ABS activate sooner? Or just the same as before? Thanks
  24. Hello kevhaywire, Where can I get these? Site? Thanks
