    Hi, Does anyone know the part number for the camshaft sensor/hall sender for a 1995 OBD1 VR6? Tried both my local dealerships and they don't have a clue without me taking out the old one and bringing it to them. One just keeps trying to sell me the coil pack! If anyone has it, it'll save me the pain of taking the old one out and then refitting it again while I wait for them to order the new one in. Cheers.

    For a possibility with the window check the cable running between the door and the body inside the big rubber hose. In both of my MK3 GTi and VR6 one or two of the cables were fractured causing faults. The two cables are the heavier gauge ones, a brown one and yellow/red one I think, and look to me like they were made a bit too short at the factory putting excess stress on them. This fractured cable fault caused all sorts of weird things to happen in my GTi, like the driver’s window up button shutting the sunroof instead of shutting the window. On the VR6 the driver’s window simply lowered on
