I am thinking of getting one of those VW footrests (see the thread http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?40172.0) I know this has been talked about before, but can any one tell me a) how much the footrest from VW is, and is it difficult to fit? Any advice on fitting would also be greatly appreciated. One thread says you have to cut a hole in the carpet - does this mean that you have to poke small holes for bolts, or something more severe?
