  1. Everyone's preference is different on things like this, someones smooth ride is anothers stiff etc. You will always be taking a small risk, good luck with what you choose
  2. Perhaps i need to have a look around under the bonnet, to see if there is a way of getting a cold feed down near the bottom of the bumper.
  3. Thanks for the opinions guys. I would like a BMC really, but i want the car to retain some refinement and i don't know how loud it would be. I have aircon so i think the usual duct down to the bottom of the bumper is out, correct me if i'm wrong. The exhaust booms a bit around 1800-2500 as it is, i like the induction noise but if was too much i would be p*ssed off. £160 is too much to risk if it is too intrusive.
  4. If you are going to give it a go you will need spring clamps, otherwise you could do some serious damage! If you haven't any experience doing this, i would get it done for you, you don't want something going wrong while you are driving !dodge
  5. You may as well replace the bumpstops front and rear, they aren't much and it's worth doing while the suspension is off. Whoever you get to fit it, ask them about what they recommend for the bumpstops, they may shorten them slightly. The front camber is adjustable as standard, the holes at the bottom of the strut are elongated to allow for this. You will need to have the front camber and tracking checked/adjusted afterwards, i don't think the rear camber/toe is adjustable as standard. I know Stealth can do four wheel alignment, you should give The Phirm a ring and ask them what they can do if
  6. I have a K&N panel and have removed the trumpet in the top of the box already, just not sure how to do the holes.
  7. I would consider getting new bumpstops for front and rear if they don't come with any, mine were destroyed after 60k. I had to take it all apart again to replace later! As for the alignment, ask The Phirm if they can do it, they should know
  8. Hi guys, i want to drill my airbox for a bit more induction noise on the side facing the inner wing. I'm not sure how big and how many to do, any suggestions?
  9. Found another pic, i knew i had one somewhere! I reckon these are 18".
  10. There are 17" versions available 5x100 et35 7.5 wide, apparently they may require a small spacer on the front to clear the caliper. As far as i know these should go straight on, possibly a little arch work needed??
  11. Thats ok then, i just want them for looks, i wasn't going to use the ducting. Cheers guys
  12. I was thinking these would look good too, spent ages looking for pics and only found a couple. To be honest i'm not so sure, what do people think? I am also wondering if the new Audi RS4 rims would be good, they are available in 17", not sure on the rest of the specs. Credit to pics owners.
  13. I have a K&N panel in mine and i have taken out the trumpet inside, it definately feels a bit more responsive to me, and sounds good too. I would like a little bit more induction noise, but i'm not sure how much louder it will be if i drill the box. It's hard to fill the holes in after if i don't like it!
  14. I spoke to Eurotek today, the guy said that the vents will not fit if you have aircon, so thats that
  15. Thanks for that, now to see if i can find them to buy anywhere!
  16. Thanks guys, i don't suppose you have any pics of the bonrath ones on the car do you??
  17. Anyone know of some lower air intakes that are a good fit? I have seen in a few posts that the FK ones aren't brilliant quality as far as fit goes, any others that are better? I would like some that go in without having to modify or muck about with them. Cheers
  18. If you get it from GSF it was about £12-£13 last time i bought it, good value
  19. Hi guys, i have just removed the long intake trumpet from my standard airbox (pain in the a**e!) which now gives a good but subtle induction noise. If possible and not too expensive, i would like to get a new rampipe to put inside. Basically a shorter one to smooth the airflow out of the box into the inlet pipe. The internal diameter of the airbox outlet is 84mm, i doubt there is one this size off the shelf. Here is a pic of what i'm talking about. Pic borrowed from Pipercross site. Cheers
  20. Shame there isn't a 17" replica of the R32 wheel, i would buy them
  21. Yeah, my bolt head sheared off then needed drilling and retapping for a new one. I can't remember what size tap and drill it is, but if you are going to try yourself i would find out and have the bits handy!
