I take mine to JMS in the centre of town for MOTs and other stuff (not servicing). They don't have vag.com but the guy there is ex CD's and a good bloke.

Fairview. Each time I have had mine serviced at CD's it comes back with something broken. For example, they put new discs and pads on the back and the abs light starts coming on over 90mph. They tell me it's the ABS sensor on, yes you guessed it, the rear nearside. £300+ to replace. They wouldn't admit that they had anything to do with it either. Problem is my aircon keeps playing up and they are they only local place I can find that does aircon

I have to say I never actually noticed it until I took it to a local VW specialist for a service and he said "do you know you have a misfire?". If he hadn't told me I probably would never have noticed!

It says: BHP 199.7 @ 5691 (107 mph in gear used) Torque 196.7 @ 4282 (80mph in gear used)

Hi all Please go easy on me! I'm new and know absolutely nothing about the workings of a car. Kind of part of the reason I joined this fine forum, to learn some stuff myself. So with my excuses out of the way, a couple of questions! My VR6 has started to show signs of a very slight misfire around 2-2,500 rpms. It is hardly noticeable, and only when I keep the car within that range. Accelerating through the gears everything feels absolutely fine. The exhaust has also started to get a bit smelly when I first start. I've never noticed this before, could the two be linked? Other question, and qui
