dellert 0 Posted July 23, 2006 Report Share Posted July 23, 2006 Just plugged my vavavoom in to VAGCOM for the first time and got the engine speed sensor (513) one cos the engine was off, but I also got an O2 sensor fault (525), is this another name for a Lambda probe? Also why is it doing it? Says its intermittent, so i had a look on the live data feed bit with the engine on and it was reading 1.00x most of the time on idle, but i didnt take it for a spin round the block or anything. Before you ask I did clear the code, and yes it did come back within 24 hours :-d ! Also of interest is that the car seems fine apart from a burble on decelleration, with a non genuine stock exhaust. It also has a thirst for oil, about a litre in 600, but i expect that from a grandad VR like mine, it is getting pretty Gerryatric at 151k miles! Any thought would be appreciated.
