VR6Fletch 0 Posted July 8, 2006 Report Share Posted July 8, 2006 RobVR6 - I have been looking into this as I think a hard house fan had my VR6 at some point and the cones are blown with any level of base volume! 17cm (6.5 inch) cones will fit in easily and tweeters will also go in with some mods e.g. starfish mounts for the from dash. Really depends on how much you want to spend. Getting the grills off is v. v. easy - I did it today and the original speakers do look really dated and naff!
