My last vr had full closure, this ones a highline and it doesnt work on it with the remote. it may have done with the key but i just de-locked the handels so cant do that.

i have a TOAD AI 606 fitted and i think thats the reason it wont work by remote? am i right.

my vr has a TOAD AI606 and my full closure doesnt work but i got probs with my rear windows but the book i got with the toad said you can have full closure

my other vr was a highline had the same toad ai606 and did work if you are going to tatton park i can bring the manual

I had the same Toad alarm and had a boot solanoid working from it. A proper auto electrician should be able to wire up all the functions on the alarm for you such as, having your lights turn on at the push of one of the spare buttons.

When mine was in for the fitting,the guy said that he has problems all the time fitting full closure alarms to gtis and vrs because of the pneumatic vw closure system.

Mine turned out to be a problem with that system, not the alarm. I changed the control unit in the boot and it works fine now. :)

For a toad system with total closure, you should have a 4-button remote. Hold down button 4 for 3 seconds after locking to activate the closure. If that doesn't work, try holding buttons 3 and 4 down simultaneously for 3 seconds.
