dellert 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Report Share Posted June 3, 2006 Have had an oil leak for a while now, but never got round to tracing it. Just crawled out from under it now. It seems it has a small leak on the oil cooler which i knew about, and have some seals for. However as always with the VR nothing is :S simple!!! It does not leak when stationary, but there is a snail trail down the back of the engine where it is also leaking. However i cannot see the point of egress as there is too many bits in the way!! It is directly below the exhaust manifold, but above the sump, it looks like there is something bolted on to the engine there, but i dont know what it is, or if it is relevant to an oil leak? any thoughts or advice would be greatly apprectiated. dellert 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Author Report Share Posted June 3, 2006 What a muppet! the bit attached to the engine is the engine mount!!!! and the oil is not oil it is grease off the UJ on driveshaft as gaitor is split!! Sprayed it everywhere!!! Link to post Share on other sites
