jb9999 0
I need a new maf but can't get one till Tuesday. Will it be ok to run the car till then with the knackered maf disconnected? Also, will I need to reset the ecu when I fit the new one? And finally, will the new maf get rid of the slight heitation the car has with the kebabed maf disconnected? Ta. +o(
mightyvr6 0
Should be ok to run the car with it disconnected (have you pulled the connector off to see how it runs?)as the other sensors such as the tps take over. I'm pretty sure disconnecting the battery for 15 mins resets the ecu.New maf should smooth things out.
jb9999 0
Yep, I have it disconnected now MightyVR6, and runs nearly perfect. When connected splutters up to about 3500rpm and huge power loss. Actually wheelspun it this morning(accidental) which it didn't do before! Cheers mate.
