bugsy 0 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Share Posted May 8, 2006 is there a way to make the fluid fly wheel lock in sooner on vr boxs mine dont lock in untill about 3000 revs through gears until i hit top gear then it locks in at 1500 rpm 35 mph.it feels like its working properly but as you know there is alot of power from 1000 to 3000 which i feel i am wasting through slipage. is there a diesel auto box i can use or any revalving options, and before you say just convert to manual it aint an option.any one fitted a dsg box to their vr of later vags. vr6turbo 27 Posted May 10, 2006 Report Share Posted May 10, 2006 i ran a stage 1 turbo system at 270 for 3 years before i had troublei asked the same question could i upgrade the bands on the box to handle more powerthe answer was if i had enough money i mean serious moneyit could be done by a specialistit may be the torque converter on its way outtry a transmission oil change its allways best to try the cheaper option first Link to post Share on other sites
