MarkGolf 6 Posted May 24, 2004 Report Share Posted May 24, 2004 I take it you mean a 'smear' type thing as opposed to white residue??If so, best way is to give it some elbow grease or if you have some form of liquid cleaner (glass cleaner) use that... dubloke 4 Posted May 25, 2004 Report Share Posted May 25, 2004 white spirit should do the trick! you could also try using a stanley blade to clear the residue off the screen but this requires caution so that a-you dont cut yourself & b-you dont scratch the glass! presuming off course its actually on the outside of the screen not the inside which is why washing hasn't removed it!
