jonvr6highline 0
Hi,Need a bit of help.Drove my VR6 today for the first time in 2 weeks, noticed after giving it a run that when I put it into reverse, the clutch pedal was 'like vibrating' while doing clutch control whilst reversing. I later noticed that where it was parked that there was clear liquid on the road.Any ideas what it could be, as not sure if to drive until its sorted. It does not get driven much (64,000miles - 2nd car), I put the first lot petrol in today since January!!!Thanks Jon

jonvr6highline 0
I spoke to my mate (mechanic). He has not yet seen the car, but he says as the fluid is drained, that this the reason that I can feel the clutch. Now while dipping the clutch, I can feel movement of the clutch (pedal vibrating). He says that I can get an aftermarket 'Slave Cylinder'. Also said, it should not be much of a big job.Has anybody else had experience of changing a 'Slave Cylinder'?Also, how much for the part?CheersJon 8)
vr200 0
its a piece of cake changing the slave m8, not sure on price, but its 2 bolts to the gearbox and one to the clutch fluid line, just be sure to bleed the system after renewal!!
