Reasonably straightforward, just needs some care and a 6mm Allen key.

Clamp the 2 coolant hoses running to the top (to minimize coolant loss) then undo the clips on them with pliers if they're the original spring type (squeeze the ends towards each other and keep squeezed while you move the hose). My hoses were a little 'sticky' but came away intact with a bit of twisting.

Next undo the jubilee-type clip on the intake boot and pull it away (the big rubber boot from the air cleaner).

Unplug the multiplug for the throttle plate position sensor (most manuals say to disconnect battery negative too).

Undo the 4 Allen bolts carefully and evenly. They're at each corner of the square plate (you'll see them on your new body). Make sure you keep the gasket safe to re-use if in good enough condition - ie not torn.

Lift the clip holding the throttle into the quadrant with needle nose pliers - it'll try and spring away into a dark corner so keep hold. It may help to turn the throttle quadrant towards you to slacken the cable a little.

Now lift away the TB and as they say, refitting is the reverse of removal!

Torque the Allen bolts to 10NM (if M6 bolts) or 20NM (if M8 bolts) according to Bentley manual.

Should take about an hour the first time you do it.

Good luck and enjoy the gains! I'm thinking about a flowed TB myself so looking forward to hearing what you think.
