thegoth 5
Hi,Looking to renew my insurance and the policy document for the insurer Adrian Flux has found has this line which I can't quite understand:"Using your vehicle on any race track or circuit other than accidents to which the Road TrafficAct applies."What sort of accidents does it mean?I'm not looking for track day insurance, but I know this great little toll road in Germany 8) about which another forum strongly discourages asking direct questions to insurers.Cheers TG
purple highline monster 0
I think that it just refers to use on private ground, ie at a show like gti international you are 100% liable for any damage you cause to your car etc, but the event organisers have (or should have) their own liability cover, what they are telling you is if you damage your car where traffic law isnt in power (private places) and race tracks etc your not gonna get any dosh off em! if you ding it, as for toll roads if you have european insurance, you would be insured, as long as the place falls under a highway (a lot of fully comp policys cover you for upto 3 months use overseas)
